BFA seeks youth mentor

The Bangladesh Football Association (UK) is looking to recruit a part time Youth Mentor to work with disaffected children and young people between 14-16 years of age playing in the Tower Hamlets Youth League.  The Youth Mentor will be responsible for setting up and running a successful mentoring project and will use a variety of methods to engage and support the children.

Suitable candidates will have previous knowledge and experience of working with young people in a mentoring capacity and be aware of statutory support agencies.  The role requires the successful candidate to work most Saturdays, which is the day on which matches are held.

The Youth Mentor will work ten hours a week and the salary is £7,500 gross. The appointment will be for a 12 month period. The role requires the candidates to work with children and successful candidates will need to be DBS checked.  BFA is an equal opportunities employer and the post is open to all.
