Bow murder: three in court this week

THREE MEN in their late twenties appeared at Thames Magistrates Court yesterday, 27th June, and were charged with murdering Brenton Roper in Bow on 13th May. Mr Roper died of gunshot wounds at the scene of the crime, in Eagling Close E3.

The three who were charged are:
Mohammed Shaid, of Arrow Road E3;
Monzur Ahmed, of Whitehorn Street E3;
Foyzur Rahman, of Beveridge Mews E1.
They were all remanded in custody and will appear at the Old Bailey tomorrow, 29th June.

Two young men, aged 16 and 18, were arrested on 13th May on suspicion of murder but were later released with no further action to be taken against them. A 54 year old man was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender and has been released from custody but remains under investigation.
