Can we find “Fahad Akbar”?

POLICE ARE still searching for a man who called himself Fahad Akbar. They want to speak to him in connection with a sexual assault on a woman at the start of the summer.

It was Saturday, 8th July when a woman in her early 20s went to a nightclub in Shoreditch. There she met a man who used the name Fahad Akbar. After talking to him for a while she went to his home – at an address which it is thought is in north London.

There, in the early hours of the morning of Sunday, 9th July, she was sexually assaulted. The victim left the property and then contacted the police.

The man is described as approximately 5ft 9ins tall. He is bald. He said that he had mixed Pakistani/Lebanese heritage. The police have released an image of him which was taken from an identification card which he used when going into the Club.
