Cemetery Park joins Chelsea Fringe

Elvis Costello didn’t want to go to Chelsea – but now there’s no need, as the Chelsea Fringe has come to East London. The Chelsea Flower Show is a major event in the horticultural calendar – and it’s so popular that it’s grown a fringe. The Tower Hamlets Cemetery Park will be part of the Fringe, which runs from 21st May to 12th June. It will be promoting its “Plants and People” trail as well as its bat walk and the annual Summer Fair.

There are still places available for the following events (click the link to register):
Sat 21 May – Natural Dyeing Workshop
Thu 26 May – Wildflower Wander
Thu 26 May – Go Batty!
Tue 31 May – Edible Trees
Thu 9 June – Botanical Dyes
The Summer Fair will be on 4th June.
