Hawks trapped as Scintilla win again

Scintilla CC were in no mood to take prisoners as Hawks were skittled out for 140 in 36 overs at the Jubilee Sports Ground.

Top scorers for Hawks were Siddique (28) and Osman (24). Captain Shaha Riadh and Ayaz Karim took 3 wickets each. Rifat Mahmud took 2 with one apiece for Morshed and Foysal.

Scintilla reached 141/2 after tea from 20 overs. Man of the match Jahidul Haque Jumon was top scorer with 76 and Mohammed Ebrahim struck a quick-fire 42 as Scintilla romped home by 8 wickets.

Captain Shaha Riadh said: “The team were fluid and cohesive today. I was pleased with various aspects of both our fielding and batting. A big plus is how quickly the newcomers have settled into the team. We look forward as we start preparing for our next game.”
