A murder investigation is underway after a death in Stepney. Police were called at 00.41hrs on Saturday 2 April to a disturbance in Masters Street E1.

A total of four people have now been charged with murder in connection with a stabbing in east London. Kowshar Hussain, 24, was attacked in Master’s Street, Stepney, in the early hours of 2 April and died soon after.

On Saturday Antony Fraser, 32, and Bobby Lawrence, 21, both from the E1 postcode, were charged with murder. Liam Whitnell, 27 and Jonathan Joseph-Bell, 24, both from Stepney, have already been charged. Mr Fraser and Mr Lawrence are to appear at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on an unspecified date. Mr Whitnell and Mr Joseph-Bell are scheduled to appear at the Old Bailey on 11 April.
