Murder in Manor Park

A MAN HAS today been charged with murder following the murder of a man in Manor Park.

He has been named as Emil Asparuhov Hristov, 39, of Sherrard Road, London E12. He was due to appear at Thames Magistrates Court in connection with the charges today.

Police are investigating the murder. They are trying to find the victim’s next of kin and hope that when they are successful they will be able to identify the body formally.

When Emil Asparuhov Hristov, 39, of Sherrard Road, E12 appeared at Thames Magistrates’ Court on 22nd August he was remanded to appear at the Old Bailey on 24th August. At the Old Bailey the case was adjourned until 9th November with a provisional trial date set for 12th February 2018.

The victim’s next of kin have been traced and the victim can now be named as Dimitar Petrov, aged 29, of Manor Park. Formal identification is awaited.
