We continue our 4oth anniversary tour around How Dare You, the fourth and final studio album of the 10cc original line up, with its fourth track: “I’m Mandy, Fly Me”. Although it only reached number 6 in the charts, it remains one of 10cc’s better known numbers. Some will say it’s their favourite 10cc track. Others says it is a classic Gouldman/Stewart composition (though Godley gets a writer’s credit for knocking it into shape when they were stuck) – nice pop, but without the wit and ingenuity of a classic Creme/Gould composition. This video seems to be an edited performance by the original four: given their short performing career, that’s quite  rarity.
