Two youth hurt in Plaistow shooting

TWO 16 YEAR OLDS were hospitalised with gunshot wounds on 29th December after a gunman opened fire on a fast food restaurant in Plaistow. The incident occurred in Terrace Road, just after 8.30pm.

The emergency services were called, with both the London Ambulance Service and the Air Ambulance joining police at the scene. One of the young victims was shot in the back and the other in the leg. Ambulances took both to an East London Hospital. Neither injury is life threatening and both boys are in a stable condition.

The attack is being investigated by the Metropolitan Police Trident and Area Crime Command.
