East London teen guilty of terror offence

IS JUST 18, but East Londoner Arbias Thaqi has pleaded guilty to charges related to terrorism at Westminster Youth Court on Friday, 16th February.

The charges followed an investigation by the Metropolitan Police Counter-Terrorism Command and relate to various material related to Daesh which Thaqi shared online.

Thaqi admitted six counts of disseminating terrorist material under Section 2 of the Terrorism Act 2006 and two counts of possession of documents of a kind likely to be useful to a person committing or preparing an act of terrorism under Section 58 of the Terrorism Act 2000.

He has been released on bail until 23rd April, when he will return to court for legal argument.
