Can we find Redbridge robbers?

By admin1

July 24, 2017

THREE PEOPLE tricked their way into the house of a woman in Redbridge – and then robbed the property.

Since the incident happened on 30th April, detectives have been trying to identify the burglars – and they have now issued e-fit pictures to support a further appeal to the public for help.

The incident took place at around 9pm, when a woman in her early 50s heard the doorbell ring. She looked out of the window and saw that the person ringing the bell was a well groomed woman in her 30s, with shoulder length brown hair and olive skin. The woman smiled and waved at her. The victim opened the door – and two men rushed in, knocking her over.

The first man put his foot on the victim, forcing her to stay on the floor, while the second man went up to the bedrooms – money and jewellery was later found to be missing. The men had east European accents and spoke to each other in a language which was not English.

The first man is described as a white male, probably in his early 40s, of think build and tall.  He had dark hair which was short on the back and sides and was spiky on top, with blond tips to the spikes. He was wearing blue jeans, a black leather jacket which seemed to be too small for him, and yellow boots which were dirty. The second man was short and fat, a little older than the first man, and with a missing front tooth He was wearing a grey Nike tracksuit.  Both men looked dirty and not well groomed.

If you can help find these suspects, please phone the police via 101.  Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers on 0800-555 111, where you can give information anonymously.
