A community group of friends have got together and agreed to spend a significant amount of time doing something charitable and positive. The peer group came up with the idea of holding a weekend charity car wash with 100% of the proceeds going to causes supporting impoverished Syrian families, orphans and widows.

Organiser Imran Khan said: “Charity is the backbone of our community and we decided to spend a weekend doing what needs to be done. Some of our fellow humans don’t have access to the very basics while the rest of us are overloaded with pet luxuries. I request everyone to come along and support this cause.”

The weekend charity car wash will run till late evening on Sunday, 28th May and is located opposite Queen Mary, University of London at Cambay House, Harford Street, London E1. For a charge of £10, customers will receive a thorough wash and vacuum inside and out.
