A 16 YEAR OLD youth has been arrested on suspicion of murder by police investigating the killing of Daniel Frederick in Shakespeare Walk, Hackney, on 8th January.
Daniel was found on the street with stab wounds and died shortly after reaching hospital. A post mortem has confirmed that Daniel died from a stab wound.
The youth was arrested this morning – Monday, 22nd January – and taken to an East London police station, where he is being held in custody. A 26 year old man was arrested on suspicion of murder shortly after the killing on 10th January and has since been released as the investigation continues.
Detective Inspector Paul Considine, who is leading the investigation for the Homicide and Major Crime Command, said: “We have now made two arrests in connection with Daniel’s murder, but we are still appealing for any witnesses or anyone with information who have not yet spoken to us to do so as a matter of urgency.”
