EL Mosque seeks new CEO

THE EAST LONDON MOSQUE and London Muslim Centre are seeking to appoint a new Chief Executive Officer.

Together, the two institutions form one of the largest and busiest Muslim organisations in the UK, serving as a base for its local congregation but having an influence on spiritual and theological matters much more widely. The Mosque and Muslim Centre also seek to influence social issues, particularly when it comes to harmony within the community.

The organisations envisage that a new Chief Executive will help the organisation maintain excellent standards – rooting its work in the values of Islam while inspiring the whole community.

There is no formal closing date for applications for this position, which applicants being urged to submit their applications as soon as possible. Applications will be reviewed until a successful candidate has been appointed.

Any appointment will be made subject to references, an enhanced DBS check and proof that the candidate is eligible to work in the UK
