ESSEX COUNTY Cricket Club, in partnership with the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB), is hosting a workshop at Hainault & Clayhall Cricket Club on Tuesday, 25th July, starting at 7pm. Members of the public will be invited to the event to air their views on how to help make cricket a better experience for all.
Essex County Cricket Club superstars Mohammad Amir, Ravi Bopara, Syed Ashar Zaidi and Varun Chopra, as well as Essex coaches, will be in attendance for an interactive Q&A session, which will then be followed by an ECB workshop.
The organisers want to ensure that cricket is a game for everyone – full of great experiences whether you play, watch, follow or work in the game.
This is an opportunity to help improve the game through feedback, sharing ideas and thoughts on how South Asian communities can be supported in their cricket aspirations. Of particular interest is the involvement and participation of members of the Afghani, Bangladeshi, Indian, Nepalese, Pakistani and Sri Lankan communities.
Dinner will be provided, and with limited places interested parties are urged to register to avoid disappointment of missing out.
