A FOURTH MAN has been charged with the murder of Moosakhan Nasiri – who was found with a stab wound to the chest in Plashet Park, Forest Gate, just after 4pm on 15th October.
The latest man to be charged is a 25 year old man of no fixed abode. The first person to be charged was a 16 year old boy. Two other men – one aged 18, one 22 – were next to be charged.
All three appeared at the Old Bailey in January and were remanded in custody. One man, aged 18, was arrested shortly after Nasiri died but was later released under investigation.
Police have repeated their appeal to the public for information. In particular, they believe the stabbing may have been recorded on video.
Speaking just before the fourth suspect was charged, Detective Inspector John Marriot said, “We are now a number of months on from when Moosakhan was brutally murdered, and while we have charged three people in relation to this murder, we would still be very keen to talk to anyone with information.
“This attack happened in the middle of a busy park and there will have been numerous witnesses to this violent stabbing. I would encourage anyone with information, and in particular any video footage, to submit this to us so that we can bring those responsible to justice.”
Anyone who was in the area of the stabbing at the time or who has any other information which could help police is asked to contact the Homicide and Major Crime Command on 020-8345 3715. Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers on 0800-555 111, where you can give information anonymously.
