Items needed: Foundation – get one that suits your skin tone and lasts for hours. (I personally use Max Factor – Ever Lasting). Concealer – get one that lasts for a long time and lightens your dark spots, which also blends in with your foundation. (I use Barbara Daly Make Up – Light Effect Concealer Pen). Eyeshadow – get a mineral palette. I would recommend you to get Sleek Palette – Original; it is the palette I used for my look. Eyeliner – use which ever eyeliner you most feel comfortable with, pencil, gel or liquid eyeliner. (I used a gel liner with a eyeliner brush, Maybelline New York -Lasting Drama). Eyelash Curler – you should buy the one with the rubber at the end, so it does not leave marks on your fingers. (I used a eyelash curler from the store Super Drugs). Mascara – get a natural and long lasting mascara -one that will make your lashes longer but not volumised. (I used Rimmel London – Lash Accelerator). I would recommend you to buy it. Once you buy it, it will be one of your favourite make up item. Blush – buy a light pink; choose the shading which most suits your skin tone. (I use light pink from Double Act, W7) Lipstick – buy a shade of pink that suits you and one that moisturises your lips. (I use Rimmel London – Heather Shimmer).

Application: Step 1 – use a good cleansing and moisture rising routine, to create a smooth surface to apply your foundation on. Step 2 – use a good concealer, one that will disguise pores and blemishes. Buy a concealer that will last for hours and even out your complexion. Step 3 – the trick to the smoky purple girly eyes is playing around with the colour mix of light or dark. Start by getting a light baby pink and apply it firmly on your eyelids, then take a dark purple and shade it into your socket line, then blend it in till both colours meet up together. (You can make it darker or lighter, depending on how you want it, dark to stand out and light to be more fresh and girly). Step 4 – apply a pencil, gel, or liquid eyeliner. (If you want a more stand out look). Next curl your eyelashes with an eyelash curler, turning them slightly upwards. Then apply natural looking mascara, not volumising mascara because we are going for a soft and girly look. Wiggle your mascara wand upwards for the first layer and on the second layer wiggle it outwards and upwards. Step 5 – to finish off the look, get a soft pinky blush and apply to your cheeks, it will give you a nice sweet glow. If you want a subtle look, I advise you to use a big soft blush brush, put on a big grin and use circular motions on your cheeks to get a natural look. Then put on a pink lipstick with a hint of brown. I advise you to use a moisturized lipstick that way your lips do not look all cracked up. Pout your lips and then you are all ready to go!
