Golapgonj and Bishwanath shared the spoils in a competitive Sonali Upazila Cup friendly at Mabley Green. Emrul Islam put Golapgonj ahead in the first half after an assist from Mujibul Islam, but deep into the second half Bishwanath equalised through Mo. The game finished 1-1.
Mujib Islam of Golapgonj said, “It was rainy, and cold, but we had a good few supporters cheering us on tonight. Well done to both teams for a competitive game. I think a draw was a fair result.”
