POLICE ARE appealing for help in finding two men who are wanted for questioning in connection with a burglary. The incident took place at Next on Gallows Corner by the Southend Arterial Road at around 4am-5am on 14th December.

Two men broke though the shop’s doors, collected items worth over £3,000 and then made their way out via the fire door at the rear of the building. Their actions were caught on CCTV.

Both suspects are described as white men in their 30s. The first suspect was wearing a purple and white snood, a dark green body warmer over a black jacket, blue jeans and grey trainers – together with light coloured gloves. The second suspect was wearing a black hooded coat, grey trousers and faded brown boots.

Police are appealing to the public for information – either about the raid itself, or about the suspects, or about men acting suspiciously around the store beforehand.

Anyone with information should ring the police on 101. Alternatively you can ring Crimestoppers on 0800-555 111 and remain anonymous.
