PRIDE MONTH ends with a celebration in Tower Hamlets, as the Council holds a Pride Picnic Summer Bandstand Celebration in Victoria Park. The event last from 12 noon to 5pm on Sunday, 28th June.
Bring a blanket and your picnic and join your neighbours around the Bandstand for an afternoon of community, music and – fingers crossed – summer vibes.
Entertainment will be provided by Juliet and her Regrets – that’s original punk-disco tracks that explore life, love and Juliet’s transgender journey. Jessica Rowbottom will also be performing The Bleeding Obvious – her piano cabaret “full of humour, heart and queer storytelling”.
Alongside these two headline acts will be other entertainment and a Community Marketplace with stalls from local organisations.
