SATURDAY, 24th June a bus collided with a car in Barking. The incident occurred at approximately 4.45pm in Upney Lane, close to Upney Tube station.
Police, the Fire Brigade and the London Ambulance Service all attended. A 58 year old man, the driver of the car, was taken to an east London hospital where he was reported to be in a stable condition with injuries that were not life-threatening. Three bus passengers were treated for minor injuries.
Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Roads and Transport Policing Command are investigating this collision – and they are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision to come forward and help them piece together the circumstances of the accident.
