Sir Michael Barber speaks at London Muslim Centre

October 27, 2016

Sir Michael Barber has spent his professional life in education. He moved from working for the National Union of Teachers to advising Tony Blair on the delivery of policies. He took to government like a duck to water, analysing how they could perform better – always with an eye to ensuring that their policies were delivered in practice, not just on paper.

After his time in government, Barber went on to work for education multinationals and to advise a range of governments on how to improve their education services. He is now working as the Chief Education Adviser of Pearson, the educational publishers, and is also employed as a non-executive board member at the current Government’s Ministry of Justice.

Barber is now going to share his wisdom with East Londoners, as a guest of the London Muslim Centre. He will be speaking about how charities can improve their efficiency and delivery. The event is being run by the London Muslim Centre in partnership with Fajr Capital.

Execution & Delivery into the Charity Sector, with Sir Michael Barber, 4.30-7pm, 1st November, London Muslim Centre. Obtain your free ticket from: http://www.eventbrite.co.uk/o/east-london-mosque-amp-london-muslim-centre-8434940142
