ONE MAN has already been charged with murder – and now three other men are also facing a murder charge. The men have now been named after attending Court, where they were all remanded in custody.
The murdered man is Masum Miah, who was found in St Bartholomew’s Road, Newham, with gunshot wounds. He died shortly after the emergency services arrived. Days later, Sergiu Leahu, 40, of no fixed aggress, was charged with murder. Those who were charged subsequently have now been released and are as follows.
Leonel Friman Intasse, 18, of High Street, Sittingbourne, was charged with murder on 23rd September. He has been remanded in custody and will to appear at the Old Bailey on 25th September.
Renars Ludins, 47, of no fixed address, was charged with murder on 29th August. He was remanded in custody and appeared at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on 29th August. He will next appear at the Old Bailey on 17th May 2027.
Mihai Stancu, 36, of Charlton Crescent, Barking, was charged with murder on 8th September. He was remanded in custody and appeared at Thames Magistrates’ Court on 9th September. He will next appear at the Old Bailey on 17th May, 2027.
Detective Chief Inspector Dan Whitten, who is leading the investigation, said, “Our thoughts remain with Masum’s family as they come to terms with his tragic death. We are continuing to appeal to anyone with information that could assist our enquires to come forward.”
