THE PALESTINIAN struggle for freedom is being celebrated at the Rich Mix Centre in Tower Hamlets with an exhibition and a series of performances running through November.
The series of events will be launched formally at the Rich Mix centre from 7-9m on Friday, 15th November.
●Before you go to the launch, make sure you have signed the divestment petition. Tower Hamlets Council is still investing its pension fund in companies which support the Israeli state. Tower Hamlets Unison has launched a public petition asking for a debate in the Council, asking the Council to divest these funds from these companies. So far, the call has cross-party support, so a debate could be very effective. Help the campaign by signing the petition.
