TOWER HAMLETS Council is asking residents to complete an online questionnaire detailing how the Coronavirus pandemic has been affecting them, to help it plan services.
Strangely, residents have to sign in on the Council website before they can view or complete the survey – raising fears that the survey is not anonymous. It is not clear why the Council is insisting upon this.
The Council says that it should only take residents around ten minutes to complete the questionnaire – the time starting after they have signed in, presumably. Residents who are not able to take the survey may phone 020-7364 3030 and ask a support officer to read out the questions. The resident can then speak their answers, which will be recorded by the officer. The phone line is open from 8am-8pm in the week, from 10am-5pm on Saturdays and from 10am-4pm on Sundays. The survey will be open until 17th June.
