Miami car wash supports double charity drive

MIAMI CAR WASH held a full weekend charity car wash to help raise money for two good causes. One beneficiary was the Muslim Charity’s Love Rohingya Campaign in support of the persecuted Rohingya people of Burma and the second was Ummah Welfare Trust, which is providing urgent support to those suffering in the African drought. 

In total over £600 was raised and the proceeds were split between the two humanitarian causes. Shahaveer Hussain, who organised the fundraiser, said: “The humanitarian situation in both cases is dire and our team have worked round the clock to make this a success. I hope the small amount we raised will make a difference.”

Md Imran, Fundraising Officer at Ummah Welfare Trust, added: “We rely greatly on the generosity of the public and this is a great example of how a community has come together to support those less fortunate. We are grateful to Miami car wash for the tremendous support.”
