Aldi recalls Bao Buns

ALDI HAS recalled Let’s Party Vegetable Bao Buns. The product contains meat (duck) and sesame – but neither ingredient is mentioned on the product label.

No vegetarian would want to take a bit of what they thought was a tasty snack – only to find that it had meat in it. Sesame is a common allergen, and those who have this allergy are used to checking product labels. If sesame is in the product but not on the label, the consequences could be severe.

The product with the faulty label is the Let’s Party Vegetable Bao Buns 8 pack. All packs are affected, no matter what the “best before” date. Notices confirming the recall should be visible in all shops where the product has been on sale.

Anyone who has purchased the product and does not want to consume it because of the presence of meat or sesame should return it to the store where it was bought, where you should receive a full refund.
