Are you ready for the Phantom?

Audiences are looking forward to the release of Phantom – a political thriller set in the volatile world of South Asia. The story begins when an infiltrator with plans to attack India is caught, and the Head of India’s security agency and his team take matters into their own hands.

The film follows the protagonist Daniyal (Saif Ali Khan), whose journey to seek justice takes him to India, Europe, America and through the Middle East. His local helpers include Nawaz Mistry, played by Katrina Kair, who works for a US security agency. Daniyal and Nawaz are drawn into a battle of wits against a shrewd and ruthless enemy. As they try to do their jobs, Daniyal and Nawaz find out that in a mission like this there is always a price to pay – in this case a very personal price.

Phantom has been causing controversy in Pakistan, where it has been accused of being anti-Muslim. The film-makers deny any such intention and suggest audiences watch the film and make up their own minds.

UTV Motion Pictures and Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment present Phantom starring Saif Ali Khan and Katrina Kaif and directed by Kabir Khan. The film is released on 28th August and is in Hindi, with English subtitles.
