Arefin appointed new Scintilla skipper

AHEAD OF THE coming cricket seasons Scintilla CC have appointed Moin Arefin as captain of the second team. The all-rounder will lead Scintilla in their promotion charge in the Essex County Cricket League this season. 

Speaking after the appointment was confirmed, Arefin said, “It’s a tremendous honour for me to lead Scintilla. There have been several legendary figures who are my predecessors and I am aware of not only the weight but also the great prestige in being a captain at this amazing club. I have a lot of talent at my disposal and with hard work we will enjoy a good season.”

Club captain Ahmed Choudhury added, “Moin has the qualities to be a Scintilla great. He is a thinker, strategist and his knowledge, ability and influence will be vital in what we hope will be a great promotion charge this year.”
