Ayaz Karim unleashes six as Scintilla destroy Hawks

Scintilla captain Ayaz Karim caused maximum carnage with six wickets as Hawks were bowled out for 166. Hawks opener Jason Samuels provided some resistance with 35 runs, but it wasn’t to be. Joining Karim on the wickets list were Ashfaqur Rahaman Nobel, Jubel Ahmed and Abul Hasib. Straight after tea Ishaq Shawn (45), Ashfaqur Nobel (64) and Aminul Islam Shihan (37) ensured a quick and easy Scintilla victory.

“There were several candidates for man of the match today,” said Karim after his Sixfer won him the award. “The boys were on another level and this sets us up nicely for a little run. The team is still settling and we are getting accustomed to each other. Once this happens we are capable of taking things up another level.”
