Emdad Rahman

Barking & Dagenham Muslims celebrated their Eid day with communal morning prayers at Barking  Park. The prayer was conducted by Imam Imran, who told the congregation, “Although this is a day of great happiness and enjoyment let us not forget fellow human beings all across the world who even on this day are in great pain.”

The Imam called on the Muslim congregation to fulfil their responsibilities to serve humanity by engaging with all parts of the wider community. He added, “It is essential that we engage with young, old and all faiths and none. This is our community and our planet and we must all learn to live together and work towards a brighter future for the generations to come.”
