Bishwanath select provisional squad

THE GREATER SYLHET CUP returns on 26th August – and Bishwanath have named a provisional squad.

Team manager Khalis Miah said, “I want to thank all the Bishwanathi origin players who showed interest in and dedication towards being part of the Bishwanath (BSA) Upazila football team for the upcoming GSUC. We will do our utmost to make everyone proud.”

Apart from a strong Tower Hamlets base, the players come from all over the UK – including Oldham, Coventry, Norwich, Milton Keynes, Birmingham, Norwich, London and many other towns and cities.

Miah added, “We are really pleased with our networking and work in uniting communities using football. It was a pleasure to meet, get to know and play alongside these great personalities.”

“Our aims are to ‘strive, respect, succeed’ – and keeping in mind what’s best for the Bishwanath football team I will choose my last 16 + 2 player managers (myself and my assistant) by Friday 24th August.”
