If you’re a fan of Mr Youth, who takes his first name from the part of our borough where he now lives, make plans to get down to Heaven on 13th November, which is where and when you’ll be able to listen to East showcasing his stuff. Among the highlights will probably be East’s debut album “Total Strife Forever” which, they tell us, “is a perfect, unexpected mix of melancholia and rave”. His live shows are apparently full of energy and his now infamous headbanging. We tried to verify this claim independently by listening to an episode of Field Day radio featuring Mr Youth, but the programme started playing Bob Dylan to us and we lost the will to live.
