East London Mosque provides Ramadan timetable

THE EAST LONDON MOSQUE and London Muslim Centre have produced a handy Ramadan timetable. Hard copies can be collected from the Mosque reception or the Events Office at the Centre.

This year’s Ramadan starts on Friday, 26th May, with the new moon expected on or about Sunday, 25th June. Fasting will be a special challenge this year, with Iftar after 9pm throughout the holy month. This is especially so for candidates and campaigners in the General Election, which takes place half way through Ramadan on 8th June.
