Following their appearance in the final of The Greater Sylhet Cup 2016, Moulvibazar supporters arranged a rousing reception to celebrate the achievements of their team.
A packed house turned up at the Selale Restaurant in Haringay to celebrate and congratulate Nurul Hoque’s men, who lost to two time champions Osmaniagar in Sunday’s showpiece final at Mabley Green, Hackney.
Also in attendance was Moulvibazar Commissioner Mashuk Miah. He said, “There is no shame in coming second. We are all very proud of our team and wish them the best of luck with everything they do.”
Moulvibazar manager Nurul Hoque added, “The boys are still disappointed from Sunday, but this reception has really cheered them up. Football is about competing and we will be moving on. Hopefully our luck will change in the future. I would like to thank our fantastic fans for arranging such a tremendous reception for us. You can’t put a price on that.”
