POLICE HAVE named the man who lost his life in Hackney last Wednesday as Steven Brown, aged 47, who was from Hackney. Formal identification is awaited, with specialist police officers supporting Mr Brown’s next of kin.
A post-mortem has now been carried out and it has been established that the cause of death was a stab wound to the heart, and haemorrhage.
Four people were arrested in Hackney suspicion of murder on the day of the incident. A further four men were arrested yesterday (Saturday, 20th April) in central London – also on suspicion of murder. Three are aged 25 and one is aged 23.
