Labour deputy leader result: Tom Watson wins

Tom Watson has been elected Deputy Leader of the Labour Party.

He was ahead throughout the count, finally winning in the third round of counting.

He is thought to have received particular support from the affiliated members of the Labour Party – the trade unionists who have registered as individual members of the Labour Party.
