Last week to do parents survey

THE TOWER HAMLETS Parent and Carer survey remains open for just one more week, until 15th January. Residents are being invited to give their views on a range of services which are used by children or those looking after them.

The Council has promised to take your views into account as it tries to improve the services. As most of the services will be facing cuts in funding over the coming year, it will be hard for the Council to maintain standards, let alone improve them. It is therefore very important that the views of the public are submitted.

The survey itself is a tick-box exercise, and it does go on a bit to be honest. On the other hand, you do not have to answer every question – and there are some spaces where you can give your own views. You can use these spaces to promote equalities issues, to argue against services (such as youth clubs) being cut or to put forward any other view about which you feel strongly. Your answers will be completely confidential.
