A new and improved version of the Council’s unique Find it, Fix it, Love it (FiFiLi) app – developed under Mayor Lutfur Rahman’s Administration – is now available to download from the App Store and Google Play.
FiFiLi is the only public sector app that actively celebrates its surrounding area. It gives residents and visitors the chance to alert the council to something they love about Tower Hamlets or something that needs fixing.
The Council is inviting members of the public to send photographs of what they love about the borough – anything from a special place or a landmark to a quirky shop, beautiful scenery or an activity you like doing. The best images of the borough will be selected for the Council’s Instagram page every Thursday as part of the Council’s #loveitTHursday.
The FiFiLi app also allows people to submit concerns directly from their smart phones to the council. Residents and visitors can instantly tell the council about any issues that need addressing. This includes things such as anti-social behaviour (ASB), crime, rough sleeping, graffiti, fly-tipping, broken play equipment or streetlights, pot holes, overflowing bins or anything else worth mentioning.
If you take a picture of a problem, the app will pinpoint the location of the issue and send the details directly to the correct department, ensuring problems are dealt with swiftly.
The app also allows users to view details about any road closures or roadworks in the borough and easily take part in volunteering opportunities to help keep the borough clean.
The app was originally launched as part of the council’s commitment to make the borough an even cleaner and safer place to live, work or visit.
Download the free Find it, Fix it, Love it app now from Apple’s App Store or via Google Play.
