WITH THE FIFA Women’s World Cup reaching its final stages, there’s a huge welling of interest in football from hundreds of women players – including East End teenagers.
And interested teenagers need look no further than to Leyton Orient for a bit of extra coaching and support. The Club is launching a new Saturday Academy team which will supplement playing that teenage girls might be doing at other local clubs.
The Girls Academy aims to build at pathway for talented local girls who are hoping to stay involved in the game at senior or college level, based on offering advanced training to the right players.
