Pittsburgh Art comes to the South Bank

IF YOU HAVE a moment to saunter down to the South Bank this week, you can view a pop up exhibition showcasing work by some emerging artists who live and work in Pittsburgh, a city on the east coast of the USA.

The exhibition, and its timing, remind us that there is a human, sensitive and much more pleasant side to the USA that that represented by its president, currently on a state visit to the UK.

People who go to the exhibition will be encouraged to take a selfie with one of the works of art: sharing it will enter you into a draw to win a free five night trip for two to Pittsburgh, including travel with British Airways and admission to some of the city’s top museums.

There are also two key interactive events during the week.
