Police try to return stolen phones

HACKNEY POLICE are looking for people who had their phones stolen in or around Old Street and Pitfield Street on 30th or 31st May.

A man has been arrested on suspicion of theft of mobile phones in the area, and the police are trying to return recovered stolen phones to their rightful owners.

•If your phone was stolen in this area, contact Hackney Police via 101 and quote reference CAD 463/31May19.

•If you saw a phone being stolen in this area or have any other information about the thefts, please contact Hackney police and quote the same reference. Alternatively you can contact Crimestoppers on 0800-555 111 and give information anonymously.
