Sunamganj launch kit for Sylhet District Cup

Sunamganj District have launched their team kit ahead of the 2016 Sylhet District Cup, which takes place in London on 6th November. A smart Adidas yellow strip was launched at Stepney Astroturf with players, officials and fans in attendance. Over 40s manager Shofiqul Islam said, “We are really looking forward to a great day. There will be plenty of good and competitive football and we wish all teams the best of luck.”

Over 50s manager Bokul Hussain is confident ahead of the tournament organised by Sonali Othith. He added, “These initiatives really bring out the best amongst us. There are numerous benefits. People are becoming health conscious through football, we are uniting and socialising like never before and a lot of us are learning about our history too. It will be a great day for everyone.”

Shariful Alam, Vice President of Dhaka Mohammadan Football Club, was present as chief guest. He said, “It’s an honour and privilege to be here today, and I thank all the teams and the organisers Sonali Othith for projecting Bangladesh in such a positive manner.”
