Tesco recalls pate after use-buy date error

CHECK THE fridge! Have you bought coarse farmhouse, coarse Ardennes or smooth chicken liver pate from Tesco? These products have been labelled with the wrong “use-by” date and they may be unsafe to eat.

Tesco has recalled the pate and will display notices in-store. The affected pates are all in 170g servings and are dated “use by 5th January”.

Anyone who has packets of these pates should not eat the product. Take them back to the store where you bought them and you will receive a full refund.
