ARTHUR HENDERSON reminds us that the Labour Party began its life as a party of peace. Just four years after Henderson died came the Second World War, with millions losing their lives and millions more having their lives disrupted – rather proving that Henderson’s cause was indeed a powerful one.  In April, we remember the anti-nuclear weapons Aldermaston march: our “Thoughts” this month will concentrate on aspects of peace.
