A GROUP OF friends have clubbed together to support Syrians who will be fasting during Ramadan.
The team are fundraising to provide Ramadan food packs to help those who are fasting. The packs will not be restricted to those fasting but will be distribute to those in need.
Ummah Welfare Trust Public Relations Representative Muhammad Imran said, “Ramadan is a month of blessings and sacrifice. Most of us are blessed to end the fasting day with a feast. Sadly there are people all around the world who are forced to keep fast because they have nothing to break bread with. We are not only raising money for food packs but hoping people will become inspired to do something similar.”
Fundraiser Ruhith Wadi commented, “With your support, we can reach desperate families and give them food and water during this blessed month.”
