A women-only charity event is taking place at Tarling East Community Centre, Martha Street, London E1 2PA at 6.30pm tomorrow – Saturday, 25th June.
The event is commemorating the last ten days of the Muslim month of Ramadan. Charity is a significant aspect of Muslim culture and along with a gala dinner there will be stalls selling items to help raise funds for the charitable works of the Human Relief Foundation (HRF).
Organiser Nura Said said, “People can buy Eid gifts and abayas. There will be talks about the last ten days of Ramadan and the night of power. It’s a ladies-only event and will be a stress release for our busy women folk by asking the men to hold the fort and let the women attend this great event.”
The event is supported by Kenza Creations.
