Did you witness Redbridge horror crash?

A MAN WAS critically injured in a collision between a van and a heavy goods vehicle on the eastbound carriageway of the A406 in Redbridge – and police are appealing for witnesses.

The crash occurred at about 12.40pm on Monday, 17th July on the A406 between the Waterworks Roundabout and the M11 slip road. Police, the Fire Brigade and the London Ambulance all attended.

An investigation into the collision is being carried out by the Metropolitan Police Roads and Transport Policing Command. So far, they believe that the two vehicles which collided had had to brake in order to avoid a stationary car. That car had disappeared by the time the emergency services arrived.

If you saw the collision or have any other information, please ring the witness appeal line on 020-8597 4874.  Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers on 0800-555 111, where you can give information anonymously.
