EMDAD RAHMAN has run eleven British 10ks in a row to support London’s homeless.
The Barking & Dagenham resident – who lives, works and volunteers while dividing his time between Barking and Tower Hamlets – joined 10-15,000 runners in Central London to complete the iconic route.
Speaking after his run, Emdad said, “The issue of homelessness is very close to my heart and the Whitechapel Mission is a fantastic charity at which I have had the great fortune of volunteering for over a decade. The run was smooth and the atmosphere brilliant. Congratulations to everybody, and I hope they all bought great publicity to the causes they represented.”
•The Whitechapel Mission has been serving the homeless and marginalised for 141 years.
