As part of their social responsibility development, young people from the Splash Life Skills Project visited the Sonali Gardens old people’s home to meet the elderly, befriend them and serve delicious home cooked food.
In attendance were Sadia, Raihan, Gary, Maisha, Afiea, Sadi, and Samiul – who served happy residents with samosas, pakoras, home made cake and chicken curry with rice.
Team Co-ordinator Amrana Bint Shofique said, “The Sumer holidays are in full swing and we want to make sure our young people are fully engaged and involved in positive actions to help our community. The young people are doing a great job and we should all be very proud of them.”
